As Snapchats newly appointed Official Sales Representative in Africa, this is an opportunity to join an established media sales business as we embark on a new chapter.


Ad Dynamo, the leading ad sales house in Africa, is looking for dynamic Account Executives to service key South African advertising accounts from our Cape Town office. The position requires daily communication with our South African based agencies and brands. You will be comprehensively trained on our partner's advertising product set and be expected to deliver on quarterly sales targets.


This role comprises the following responsibilities:

  • Represent Snapchat at the same standard as their teams in markets such as the UK or US
  • Drive new and grow existing advertising accounts for Snapchat
  • Achieve quarterly sales targets
  • Provide day to day support to allocated customers
  • Manage client direct and agency relationships
  • Reporting on campaign performance
  • Activate new customers through strategic selling
  • Ensure customers are educated and informed of all new Snapchat product offerings
  • Fulfill all role functionalities associated with operations and sales


A typical day consists of:

  • Educating brands & agencies on Partner offering
  • Preparing and presenting proposals (ad sales)
  • Managing communications with agency & brand, ensuring optimal ad performance
  • Liaising with our Account Management team for day-to-day operational support

Requirements

Required skills:

  • Digital sales experience (minimum 3 years)
  • Digital marketing experience
  • Knowledge of leading digital platforms a must
  • Knowledge of South African agency/digital landscape would be an advantage
  • Excellent presentation skills - spoken and written
  • Good numerical skills - create Keynote proposals and insertion orders independently
  • Ambitious and positive can-do attitude
