Ad Dynamo represents Twitter in Africa as their official ad sales partner. We are excited to announce that we are bringing on a number of exciting new digital platforms in 2018 that we will also be representing exclusively.

We are looking for a number of dynamic Account Executives to service key advertising accounts across South Africa and Greater Africa (Nigeria, Kenya, Ghana) from our Johannesburg and Cape Town offices.

The position requires daily communication (in-person and video calls) and service of our agencies and brands. You will be comprehensively trained on the product set that you would sell.

This role comprises the following responsibilities:

  • Drive new and grow existing account revenues
  • Achieve quarterly sales targets
  • Provide day-to-day support to allocated customers
  • Manage brand direct and agency relationships
  • Reporting on campaign performance
  • Activate new customers through strategic selling
  • Ensure customers are educated and informed of all new product offerings
  • Fulfill all role functionalities associated with operations and sales

A typical day consists of:

  • Educating brands & agencies
  • Preparing and presenting proposals (ad sales)
  • Managing communications with agency & brand & ensuring ad performance is optimal
  • Liaising with our Account Management and Brand Strategy teams for day-to-day support

Requirements

Required skills:

  • Digital sales experience (minimum 3 years)
  • Digital marketing experience
  • Knowledge of digital advertising products an advantage
  • Knowledge of programmatic advertising an advantage
  • Knowledge of South African/African agency/digital landscape would be an advantage
  • Excellent presentation skills - spoken and written
  • Good numerical skills - create Keynote proposals and insertion orders independently
  • Ambitious, tenacious and positive can-do attitude
