Description
We’re looking for a junior to mid level Account Manager Hybrid who’s keen to work across multiple social media platforms.
The role comprises of the following responsibilities:
- Developing and managing client relationships
- Drive new account revenues
- Selling digital solutions to address client’s business needs
- Creating proposals
- Presenting proposals to clients
- Generating new leads
- Educating potential clients on various social media platforms and their offering.
- Reporting to clients on performance
- Provide day-to-day support to clients
- Fulfil all role functionalities associated with operations and sales
A typical day consists of:
- Preparing and presenting proposals (ad sales)
- Educating clients
- Managing communications with client
- Liaising with the wider team for day-to-day support
Requirements
- Digital sales and advertising experience (Minimum of 2 years)
- Relevant 3 year Degree
- Understanding of social media
- Knowledge of digital advertising
- Knowledge of South African/African agency/digital landscape would be an advantage
- Good presentation skills
- Creative problem solver and out the box thinker
- Comfortable with Gmail, Google Hangouts, Docs, Sheets and Slides
- Understanding Keynote - an advantage
- An eye for detail
- Ability to communicate effectively and efficiently
- Good time management skills
- Positive can - do attitude
- Willing to constantly learn
